I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (APC #006310) in the state of Georgia. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern University of New Orleans and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health from Mercer University. I have served as a mental health clinician in various roles in different sectors of the mental health community- schools, community-based settings, hospitals and private practices. I have experience working with children, teens and adolescents, adults and families.
My area of focus includes overcoming traumatic life events, feelings of helplessness and hopelessness, anxiety and depression. My therapeutic goal is to assist you with finding peace and joy and obtaining personal power in your life.
I understand that life is a life-long marathon with many detours that may often require some assistance navigating back on path. My goal is to provide a healthy and safe therapeutic relationship, enhance my client’s self-awareness in terms of mental health, and offer compassionate insight in order to make life’s marathon more manageable.
Are you excited to take your first steps towards a new YOU? Our practice is the perfect place to begin your new chapter. As your therapist, I will serve as your navigator, allowing your journey to transpire organically. If you are healing from trauma, building self- confidence, or retraining your thoughts, our counseling center is the perfect place to unpack and build a solid blueprint to ensure you are successful in exceeding your goals and expectations.
There are many qualified therapists that can assist you in achieving your goals. I am not just interested in helping you achieve your goals coming into therapy, but to help you strive for wholeness, wellness and peace. I find that addressing the whole person as a complex integrated system that may have parts of themselves that are not functioning at optimum level to be the best approach. I believe that addressing the mind and body connection and any thinking errors that are present will allow a place for us to start our work of becoming more aware of self and most importantly more loving and compassionate toward yourself.
Hello!! My name is Roberta and I am honored that you would consider allowing me to join you on your journey to wellness and self-discovery. I provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy. I specialize in trauma informed care focusing on the whole person addressing a variety of issues that plague our technology dependent culture.

Jennifer Moody
THERAPIST, LMSW

I am dedicated to supporting individuals and families on their journey towards healing and growth. I specialize in providing compassionate therapy services for youth and their parents, offering both individual and family therapy, as well as individual therapy for adults and mothers.
In individual therapy, my focus is on helping clients create a life worth living. I work with teenagers facing various challenges, such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, low self-esteem, and school refusal behaviors. My goal is to empower clients to develop effective coping strategies, build resilience, and achieve their full potential.
In family therapy, I help parents break free from unproductive patterns and enhance communication within the family system. I assist families in implementing behavior management plans and provide them with valuable skills and techniques to respond to behavior rather than react. By fostering a supportive and collaborative environment, I aim to strengthen family relationships and promote healthy dynamics.
I also have a special passion for working with mothers who struggle with managing the many moods associated with motherhood. From infancy through teenage years, I support moms in their parenting journey, helping them thrive and not just survive. If you’re a mom struggling with regulating your emotions and wanting to break the cycle of negative parenting experiences from your own childhood, learning DBT skills can be an excellent way to improve your wellbeing.
I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as a cornerstone of my approach. Through DBT, I help clients enhance their mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. These skills not only contribute to achieving therapeutic goals but also serve as valuable life skills that can benefit clients in various aspects of their lives.
I am committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space where clients can explore their emotions, develop self-awareness, and foster personal growth. My ultimate mission is to empower individuals and families to navigate life’s challenges with resilience, strength, and hope.
